community engagement communication tools murray darling basin
This toolkit is designed to help Murray-Darling Basin stakeholders develop better processes to engage communities in natural resource management processes happening in the Basin. It has been written for the Murray-Darling Basin Commission but we hope it will help a range of stakeholders – in fact all those people who have an interest in the Basin’s future. It is particularly relevant to those people who are responsible for designing, conducting and evaluating community engagement processes. This could be staff or volunteers from government, non-government, industry and private sector organisations in the Basin. Catchment management organisations and other regional groups involved in natural resource management could find it particularly useful.
